2025 Stars Win Club Nationals Championship

Put it in the books!

Team 91 National has its first championship at the Club Nationals event after the 2025 Stars went undefeated en route to a 5-0 weekend in Orlando, Fla.

The Stars, made up entirely of uncommitted juniors, got four goals from championship game MVP Zach Kerner (Team 91 Carolina) to knock off Brady’s Bunch, 9-8, in the final.

Gavin Stabile (Team 91 Long Island) was a rock in the cage for the Stars, who toppled Nations Best in the semifinals. Lefty middie Brown Parker (Team 91 Carolina) was arguably the team’s most consistent performer all weekend. Reno Vorderlandwehr (Team 91 Georgia) spearheaded the defense.

“I’m so proud of how this group came together to beat some incredibly talented teams from around the country, including some with high-level Division I commits,” 2025 Stars head coach Mike Bocklet (Team 91 Tristate) said.

“This group is special because they play together and nobody cares who gets the credit. We were strong across the board and got some timely plays, particularly in the championship game when we scored to go back ahead after Brady’s Bunch tied it up late.”

“There was never any quit in these boys. I have no doubt that many are going to get committed soon and I can’t wait to see what they do this summer at Platinum Cup, one of the top events in the country,” Bocklet added.
